The same Club, just better...

More to the point the effects on CL providers is somewhat more serious than 'inconvenience'. If the CC is trying to improve its image with members, the CL network and everybody else I would have thought that would have been a good place to start.

No husky dog it doesn't stop us getting out there and having fun. But you have to admit there are great problems with the website allowing us to do so with the CL fiasco. It's additional money not too worried if the club have done their sums properly 😉. But to have an ineffectual website and delayed handbook doesn't endure us to the hype and to praising this type of change. Personally I don't care one way or the other about name logo and colours but I do care about being able to find a site and a price so I can get out in the great outdoors. Core principles of this business?

We are told the Handbook has been delayed, but no mention of there being a map this time around.
We will soon see if this delay has been simply in posting out if the information in the handbook (shortly to be rebranded as the FistLIST) is only up to date as of September last year.

Rochelle please see my reply. If you want us to get out and about more we need a method of finding out where we can stay.
Sorry you are the one taking the flak, and have been since the upgrade but I assume no one else is prepared to put their head above the wall to explain to us the members, your employers and wage payers?

I spent a lot of time replying to questionnaires asking my opinion, I don't remember being asked if I wanted to see money wasted on rebranding. I do remember commenting how expensive the membership is now and how much site fees have gone up despite claims of them not.

Hi JayEss,
We've been championing the great outdoors for as long as I remember Now we're focusing more on your experiences and how we can facilitate them

Couldn't have put it better myself Bakers2!

Hi Bakers,
Don't worry, I've got thick skin The Handbooks are on their way and we've got a couple of fixes ready to test for the CL section of the website. As you can probably imagine, we've all been working really hard on multiple projects at the moment, and fixes for the website are still in progress.
Failing that, feel free to give us a ring to plan your trips away

You will facilitate my experience when 'you' provide a handbook and a map that hopefully is more readable and user friendly than the last one which was very hard to use,
Also keeping the membership up to date with the situation at Mildenhall CC.
In the new era of focusing on members experiences there is a question that I have. When this site suddenly becomes unavailable (not an uncommon thing) we occasionally see a message about programmed maintenance. If it is indeed programmed (and on some occasions I frankly doubt it) would it not be possible to announce such 'programmed maintenance'

It's nice to have something else to moan about besides the rubbish software that's is ruining this forum so it's not all bad.

Not doubt the New logo maintains the traditionally CC at while incorporating a heart at its centre to encapsulate the love we all have for our hobby. This is presented in a fresh, innovative and unique way. I bet that was the sales pitch.
Go on tell me I am wrong and also tell us how much this rebranding exercise is going to cost?

Well, as the actress said to the bishop, Is that it then.? How was it for you?

Sadly as far as computer users go there is a lot not to like. We are hardly likely to be excited about a change in image to one which is New and Improved when the much trumped 'New and Improved' website is still pretty dire in many respects with corrections are still coming soon.
