Sites in Edale

We have based ourselves in Castleton in the Peak District quite a few times, but have never managed to find a suitable site in Edale.
By "suitable" I mean hardstanding & power. Nothing much to ask you would think, but we really have struggled.
Any ideas?

I don't think there are any sites at Edale really suitable for motorhomes, but have a look at Combs Valley site at Chapel en Le Frith - hard standing, electrics and open all year. Is that site close enough to walk to Chinley train station?  Trains from there to Edale take 9 minutes.

There's Farfield Farm Cl at Hope, which has H/S & EHU, but doesn't allow dogs, so no good for us but might suit you.

Thanks for both of the above suggestions.

I suppose that we want the best of both worlds in that, ideally, we want to be able to walk out of the site & up the hills!

We have stayed at Farfield Farm before but that was before we had the dog! It was ideally suited for walking the Great Ridge, as is the CC main site at Castleton.

    The search continues!!

    Thanks again

Are there no C&CC CS sites in Edale?
