Motorhome Insulated Blinds

We Purchased some Interior Insulated Blinds from the Caravan and Motorhome Show Media City end of January. We told the guy what make and model we had bought and he said yes these will fit so we bought them.

Well they do not fit and i have been trying since the 4th of February to get the item sent back. Well i was told to stay in yesterday as the Courier will collect between 9-5 pm. No one came i have been back on the phone to the Supplier who tells me yes the courier did call and no one was in. Well i told him no one called as i did not leave the house i have two dogs who go barmy if the door goes plus no note was put through my door . Anyway today i got angry and told the supplier that i want this sorting asap to which he replies the courier is at fault ( well change your Courier then) thats what i told him. they now want me to stay in or leave the item outside with a note on the door . Its just gone 3-30 pm and no sign of the courier i am fed up and angry that this has happened to me . I told them i would never order from them again and would tell my friends the same .He sent me an email stating if courier does not come for me to contact him on monday to arrange another date for the item to be collected are they stupid or what .. What are my rights i just want the money what i paid for them . There mistake not mine ..  Company is called SEAFLOW. West Midlands too far for us to take back ..

    Never heard of them. If you order more, I suggest you go direct to Taylormade or Silverscreens. Both are reputable companies supplying superior external blinds which work far better than internal blinds.

    As for your legal rights, I'm no expert but I don't think you'll be helping your case if you don't make the return package available for collection.

    The company is called -- seaflo (no W), they do a range of camping accessories.................

    1)  you  could  try  speaking  to  C C Legal  Team  for  advice

      2)  the  conduct  of  the  supplier  sounds  rather  like  they 

         are  trying  to  bore  you  with  'do  this'  'do  that'  etcetera

         until  you  just  give  up.undecided

    3)  Tinwheelers  first  line  is  the  definitive  answer  W R T

         quality  !!smile

    I had exactly the same problem with the Courier company that Seaflo employ, almost identical to your case , and also the headline adverts that Seaflo use are not as advertised when reading the small print,

    Thanks everyone for all your comments i am glad to say the Blinds were collected later than we was told they would be by the Courier. Will ring them in the Morning to get my money paid back into my bank. .

    As tin wheeler said TM / or SC I myself have a TM Can't fault it and looks great on my panel van

    The fact that they didn't fit may have been a bllessing in disguise AK, I first tried internal insulated screens and soon discarded them due  to the large amount of condensation inside on the screen and facia.yell

    I've used external SilverScreens ever since winter and summer and never had any trouble whatsoever with them. smilecool
