The CL network is far more unstable than the Club Site network JVB, a lot more change occurs within a two year period, be it closures, new sites, change of contact details etc.... I have my own preferred method of dealing with this, always have had, and it keeps us well aware of what might be happening with our favourite CLs. But only yesterday I had to email HQ about a particular CL to get the definitive story from the Club. Prompt response, but imagine thousands of other members having to do this on a daily basis, HQ would be swamped. As it happens, we cannot tour at the moment, but it would be a frustrating exercise if we were, trying to research a new area with the CL search as it is. You get different results depending upon how you search, by map, or by name! And you dare not enter preferences as you could lose a hundred options with one click of a button!

So yes, despite being instantly out of date, the handbook is more reliable. When it finally arrives!
