We've taken our motorhomes up the pass on several occasions. First time I was a bit apprehensive but waited at the bottom then followed a large delivery truck up and over. Now I really don't give it a second thought. Some absolutely beautiful scenery, sandy bays and walks around Applecross and beyond.

7.29m but would take my present 7.6m one over. It is shorter than the delivery truck I followed!

Thanks for your replies and reassurance regarding going up the pass. I am so looking forward to this trip we are going to hopefully extend it and stay on Skye  for a few days so looking at about 20 days in total which I think will be enough.

There is a very helpful Facebook page for the NC500.
