Has anyone else noticed the poor quality of bananas over at least the last month. We have bough some at Aldi, Lidl, Tesco, Morisons and last week at Waitrose. All look OK on the outside but invariably they are rotten or dark inside. To some extent we have had to throw about a third of each away. Not buying anymore.

I love bananas and buy them every week, but no, haven't noticed any deterioration in them recently.  I've certainly not had to throw any out at all.  Mainly bought at Tesco.

Is it where you are storing them?  I don't think they like the cold.

Certainly  no  problems  here  in  the  County  Palatine surprised !!

    Get  mine  where  ever  I  am  shopping  --  ASDA,  M & S ,

Tesco,  McColls  (corner / paper shop),  Morrisons  but

I  do  get  50% ready  to  eat  &  50%  "Ripen  at  Home"

normally  waiting  for  them  tho  embarassed !

Dare  not  go  to  Sainsbury  or  Waitrose  'cos   they  are

rather  further  away  and  I'd  have  started  on  them

    before  I  get  Home   wink

No problem here with them either, in fact the ones I got in Lidl on Sunday are lovely.
