Use the compare sites, I was suprised at the variation of costs, and types of cover. We are using "Ceta Insurance" very competitive and a joy to talk yo on the phone

    Good luck and enjoy

Delighted  to  hear  your  news  J & K 1995  laughing

Use  this  wonderful  system  to  browse  the  different

Web Sites    for  Insurance  to  see  whats  available  first  !

You  do  have  a  little  time  to  peruse  the  different

suggestions  I'm  sure  you  will  get.

I  cannot  help  too  much,  'cos  I'm  a  Motorvanner and

    am  insured  by  Devitts  -  a  C C associate  --  not

sure  if  they  cover  c'vans  tho  ??

    {Not  trying  to  scare you,  Honest }

There  are  a  few  Insurers  mentioned  in  the  thread

about  Prices  &  Costs of  insurance on the  "New  to

Caravanning  and  Touring  Thread  --  should  give

you  some  ideas  if  nothing  else  !

My caravan is insured via the caravan club and although not the cheapest their service was second to none when I made a claim when I damaged my caravan.

Likewise, and I agree with Sell.  We have had a van stolen in the past and the Caravan Club insurance were efficient, sensitive and helpful in sorting a new van for us.  They may be slightly more expensive, but we'll worth it if you need to claim, in my opinion.

    Hi there & welcome jameskaren!!

Thanks for all the postings above. It can be a little overwhelming when starting out and we would always advise doing some research and price comparison but as is mentioned above we know Caravans and Caravanners and so we know EXACTLY what you need and offer it when you need it.

For information, a quote and policy details please visit: http://bit.ly/2iEHr2k or call 01342 336610 and our Insurance Team would be happy to help.

Sing out if we can help you further with anything else.

    Happy Touring!

    Helen

As another newcomer I chose to insure through the club. It's an important item and you will have more than enough other matters to decide on without worrying about which insurance company to go with.  You can take your time next year to review it.

The Camping and Caravanning Club will also give you a quotation for an equivalent policy. You do not need to be a member to buy the insurance.
