Does anyone have any recommendations for getting new tyres fitted onto our twin axle van? Are kwik fit etc any good? Need them to come to us...

Thanks in advance

I would not trust Kwick fit near anything of mine, but if having new tyres fitted, have the wheels balanced at the same time,i would take the wheel off and to a local reputable tyre supplier

Have you tried Tyres on the Drive? I've used them for car tyres. They seem quite competitive and prices include tyre, new valve and balancing. They are easily found online.

I agree with JVB......would not use Kwik Fit for anything.

I used a local tyre dealer when I changed our caravan tyres recently. Jacked up a side at a time and took them up the road for him to fit.

I got Hankook Vantra tyres and they seem to be doing fine.

I think it all comes down to the individual fitter.  Our local Kwick-Fit mobile man is superb.  Sadly, like any other service provider it is something that is almost impossible to evaluate in advance.

But if you do as Ian & I and use your local independent tyre supplier, you build a relationship .... & he'll  likely match the interweb prices a and actually know what he's talking about too.

That has certainly been my experience, MM.
