Insulating a caravan underslung tank

I'm seeing lots of articles on the internet about insulating underslung tanks on motorhomes, but nothing specifically for caravans.

Do people tend not to do it?  Or are there some technical reasons for not doing it.

    I don't think caravan tanks are underslung in the true sense of the word. In my experience they tend to be onboard rather than underneath.

    mine's underslung on my Coachman - I've not been out in the proper cold yet so haven't even thought about insulating it . The Lunar before it had an internal tank

    We had no issues with our underslung tank on our Delta TI even though it was -5C outside.  I don't think there is any necessity to insulate it.

    "Winterised"  'vans  may  just  have  a  low wattage  heater  in 

    the  water-tank  stopping  it  f f freezing  that  way  !
