Nissan X trail tow bar

I am thinking about getting a 2017 Nissan X trail to tow my Bailey Unicorn which is fitted with an Alko hitch.

Has anyone any experience/advice whether a detachable tow bar is suitable to fit and allow enough space for the Alko hitch to move without touching the vehicle ?

    Detachable tow bar is usually configured as a swan neck and should be fine for the Al-Ko hitch as they already tend to have a longer neck. A conventional tow ball is too short for the hitch to fit on correctly. That is why you need the special Al-Ko tow ball with the longer neck if you go for a conventional fixed tow ball.
