Hi to all , I have a Bailey valencIa 2016 has any one got any idea on a good petrol tow car for this caravan , thanks .

    This is petrol & it would certainly tow your caravan .... might be a bit thirsty though coolDodge-Ram-SRT

    Just a thought ? you say Petrol, why not Diesel.

    If you think about it, anything that has to work to earn it's keep is a Diesel, Trucks, Buses, Vans and so on are Diesel engines, Diesels are all about low down torque  and pulling power so make ideal tow cars.

    I have had Diesel cars for many years now and would be reluctant to change back. Currently have a Freelander 2.2 (190 BHP) which will tow 2 Ton's.  I only notice our Coachman is attached by the big White thing in the mirrors cool 

    Just my 2 p's worth cool

    The choice of which tow car to go for has to be down to the individual. What do you fancy? Automatic or manual? Saloon, estate, SUV? New or used?

    We tow a similar sized van using a Volvo S80 automatic & are very pleased with it.

    I don't know if my last reply got posted , but the reason for petrol was because of all the talk of diesel cars going up in price as regards tax and fuel . tongue-out

    Tax is just one of those things you have to live with .... I love paying £500 a year road tax ... innocent As much as I dislike diseasals, they make a better tow car

    From time to time we used to tow our Lunar Steller with Mrs Ones 2.0 petrol Ford Focus CC.  No real problems except fuel consumption which averaged about 18mpg
