Had a look at the link, because ours is also getting near replacement time. However, it only seems to do the BBQ bit. We use our Cadac as much with the griddle or frying pan, so unfortunately would not suit us. Seems a good price.

We did look at one,  and we're quite impressed, however like SteveL we use our Cadac griddle/fry pan a lot, so purchased a replacement for the Cadac instead.

How about the slightly smaller Cadac Safari Chef that is a tad cheaper than your link but with all the cadac bits and pieces - I have one that I love.  I guess it depends on how many you normally cater for and how many of the extras you use.  I couldn't actually find any measurements on that advertisement - and also there is a cheaper one that looks the same model with other sellers.  (I have been caught out thinking things look bigger than they actually turn out to be)

Thanks for your comments Steve, H&T and Pippah, I liked it because it was the same size as a Cadac, but a lot cheaper, however they have now put the price up by £40 (see link) and what with it not being as versatile as a Cadac then I'll give it a miss. Other forum responses were the same as yours, nothing really positive. Looks like a Cadac of one sort or the other.

    Thanks once again......cool

I agree with other posters.  It looks good, but it certainly doesn't appear as flexible as the Carri Chef.  We too use the griddle for those occasional cooked breakfasts! laughing

As per others, I use the skottle and paella pans probably more than the BBQ.

The paella pan is brilliant for a full English with the only cooking smell inside the van being the beans and toast.
