Site or CL near Whitby in February

We are looking for a site or CL ideally located between Whitby and Scarborough for late Jan/early Feb. Most sites seem to be closed and due to the time of year we would require hardstanding.

We have found Swan Farm CL which may be suitable but the availability can only be confirmed at short notice.

Another alternative is to join the CCC as there is a CS ( Ellis Farm) which looks promising

Your help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Abbey View and Toft Farm CLs, both in the same ownership, open on 1st.Feb. Both close to Whitby. Give them a call and they may be able to confirm (or not) if ground suitable.

    If you click the Open All Year button on UKCampsites.co.uk it shows a total of nine sites in the area you want - a mixture of CL, CS and normal sites.

    Thanks Eurotraveller,  I have noted your suggestion previously and it was my first port of call -  unfortunately my preferred option has closed down.

    I would prefer to stay somewhere between Whitby and Scarborough to minimise the travelling as I am a great believer the nearer you are to the locations the more you actually discover - you definitely see more walking.
