I would like to know readers 'real world' solo fuel consumption figures for the Honda CRV

2.2 i -DTEC  Manual with 4x4 drivetrain. Thanks

    Hi I have a 57 plate 2.2 crv 78000ml and get 37/40 short trips,45/48 long trips.

    mpg is at 37 when it is cold

    mpg 28/32 towing

    My 2011 solo is about 39mpg

    2.2 I-Dtec, 2014 model year 42mpg running around solo. 48 - 50 on long runs solo. Used to get up to 55mpg on long runs but after a couple of 'software updates' it dropped markedly! I do very little town driving, mainly country lanes and fast main roads.

    Thanks for your replies. Seems like the later 2.2 iDtec is slightly more economical as long as you don't have a software update!

    Recently part exed my 2.2 I dtec on 11 plate for new 1.6 l "Dream Diesel CR-V

    I had my old one re- mapped and got 27/ 29 towing - 34/37 solo.

    bhp increased by 30bhp and torque was improved a lot.

    New model giving me 34 towing and anything up to 50+ solo depending on conditions and temperature. 

    Thoroughly approve of the  new version.
