Thank you Goldie, It's good when fellow posters take the time to post advice when another poster is having difficulties with a particular task.

    Cheers .................K

David, if you look at the Youtube videos some of us inserted on this earlier thread by DSB the videos stop at the end, some have connected samples at the end but they don't play unless activated. Does yours actually continue or just have further links?

I've just checked the first few Youtube videos from DSB, Goldie and myself and can't find anything going wrong, they stop correctly and there are follow on links which don't automatically activate. Sorry can't think what might be happening when you are viewing.

I don't click on any follow ups, it's the same on Youtube you can either stop at the end or let it roll. On here I can see the posted videos and don't go any further. I expect there are some dodgy pop up adverts as well.

At least it stops David, no need for anyone to view further.

I wonder if the videos are picking up things from each other, I've got the same tiling demo on mine! I put on a video of a niece in a studio demo, there are follow on videos from the studio plus Glastonbury and Sia. My niece was backing Charlotte Church at Glastonbury last year and she's doing some touring with her this year. I presume if you look at follow on videos they'll attach to your own?

    Hi Deleted User User,

YouTube automatically finds related videos to the one you're watching and presents them at the end of the video. The autoplay function can be deactivated on your YouTube account.

Failing that you can always hit pause before the video plays; it should give you a 5 second countdown.

Rochelle, the setting needed is buried deeper in the account holders options, the tick box that says "Show suggested videos after the video has finished" must be unticked.

As in this screengrab, if you can read it.

    Hi David,

Not sure how technical you'd like me to get but you get the related videos through a direct link - as you're effectively watching the video as it is hosted in YouTube, so displays YouTube's properties.

When you embed a video (you said you had your own site before? I'm assuming that you embedded on your own site so the video plays on the page?) you are hosting on your own environment, so the video displays your website's properties.

Hope that makes sense! Either way I'm glad you can insert video successfully and that you're enjoying it smile

    Test

I think I have managed to resize this but not optimally. Could you issue instructions for Mac using Sierra OS.

    Thanks very much indeed.

Thanks Chasncath, it was just a random test pic.   The wee Blackie nesting in the trough was the reason I snatched the pic.
