After much bartering with the dealer we've bought a new Sprite major 4 EB.

Very happy with the layout and equipment.

And I've managed to get a stinger alarm fitted with the deal.

Due early March.

Oh happy days.

Lovely - many people of my age had a Sprite as their first caravan!  Enjoy your caravanning holidays.

Brings back memories! Of course in those days we had a porta-potti, foot pump for the water, no carpet and no battery. Still, it was luxury compared with camping.

I am sure you will get many years of enjoyment. Make sure you take it to France and further as soon as possible to do some proper touring.

Thanks for all the comments, it was a decision based on the last couple of trips in our old van, the layout was fine during the day, but the hassle of making up the L shaped lounge into the bed,  and then putting it all back in the morning was a pain. Plus, now the daughter and granddaughter will be able to sleep inside the van now. Where as before they slept in the awning. So it was pointless having a twin axle caravan that didn't sleep at least 3 adults!!    As far as I'm concerned I have all the accessories now, we have purchased a motor mover ( just because). And also a protec full cover.  But Jules has decided that the soft furnishings won't match so she's off buying stuff to match the new van colour scheme bless her little cotton onesie!

Not just us women who have  to change things fir the new van - hubby insisting new towels needed to colour co ordinate even though existing ones are fine! You'd have thought spending £xxx thousands would be enough in one go!
