Fresh water level indicator
Like many folks, our water supply is from an external bottle.
First thing on the morning - is there sufficient water for a shower??
Not always convenient to check last thing at night - especially if the bottle has a reasonable amount of water in it - is it sufficient or not?? Hassle to have to fill-up a bottle that still has a reasonable amount of water left.
Has anyone come across a convenient device to make checking the level easy from inside the van??

Sorry I don't know of anything. Although it would be very useful, more so if it would alarm before the pump inlet became exposed. If we end up with air in the system, it can take ages to chase out. So I end up changing barrels before they have run out.☹️️

We have got into the habit of checking water in and water out every evening before it goes dark. Like others have not heard of any kit to measure the water level. If using a serviced pitch you could invest in one of the automatic top up bits of kit.

We have two aqua rolls (other makes available) and make sure a full or nearly full one is connected before bedtime so that we know we are starting with a full one in the morning. Even if one is half full we tend to swap it and then top it up at our leisure after breakfast. That way we always have a full one waiting for the changeover.

It may be more expensive but a service pitch works for us.

I always used to keep a full watering can standing next to the aquaroll. 8 - 10 litres is about enough for an emergency supply and doubles up as a wc flush tank filler. Simple is best in my experience.

Amazon sell bathroom scales with a remote handset for about £30, just carry your scales with you and put your aquaroll on them, read off the weight in the caravan
Top tip of the day, mod it to suit
Me, I just walk out and check it.
