Cornwall site recommendations

Hi,

Normally as a couple we tend to go for quieter sites but were going away for a week in July this year with our kids and grandchild (us in caravan and them in campervan) and were looking for a site in Cornwall or maybe Devon with a pool and more facilities for children, ideally with see views.

Any recommendations ?

TIA David.

Perhaps Trewan Hall at St Columb major, which is well liked by families with younger children, but it's ten minutes drive to a beach.

Hillhead C.C, Looe C.C, Tregoad Looe, Tencreek Looe, Riverside  at London Apprentice all worth considering.

Trouble with Looe site is that it's a fair old walk into Looe......and with no sidewalk and a massive climb uphill back to the site.

Not stayed on the site, but driven by it a couple of times.

Ian, there is a footpath all the way into Looe from the site. It takes you away from the road and down what is called "Shutta Hill" The bus service is regular and a cab is a fiver. The climb back up that hill is a killer I must say. I worked that site in 2013 and only did that walk back 3 times!

Trouble with the Looe site is that it's at Looe  - a tacky town with a grubby beach and wildly overcrowded in summer. Not Cornwall at its best by any means.
