It's not so much as story. But question.

Im referring to the back ground area in the Caravan club flyer. Advertising the club show in Manchester.

Can anyone tell me where it is. Few of us are very interested in going.

    Viv

I notice that you posted this in the Story section but I have moved it to here as I think more people will view your post. If you have no luck you could contact the Club direct by e-mail and they could direct you to the correct department.

I think it's near the Trafford Centre which is easily accessible from the M60. Google it and it should give you what you want. It;s called the Manchester Event City.

Surely viv pen was asking where the sea view was - I don't know but it is definitely not Manchester. smile

I don't think that's anywhere near the Trafford Centre and certainly looks nothing like Event City wink

Sorry, couldn't resist!  But I have no idea where the photo of the background was taken, I agree, it looks very nice.

I think it's probably (link) the Ayr Holiday Park, which overlooks St Ives in Cornwall. Hope that solves the mystery.... if we got it wrong the first time at least we tried to help. undecided

I think that you're right brue with regards to the top (main) picture but the bottom right certainly isn't Cornwall....somewhere in Scotland I'd guess.

Perhaps using the pic of The Ayr is a ploy by CC Ltd to make the peak season fees look reasonable!!  The Ayr works out at £48 per night for a family of 3 in the school summer holidays, making Chatsworth seem a bargain at £42.40 tongue-out

Isn't the brochure sent out by the event's organisers and not a CC publication? It's just an advert for the show and not an event run by the CC, so the pictures have little or nothing whatsoever to do with the CC.

You're correct in saying that the sea view is of Ayr holiday park. Go there for my days off when I've saved up!!
