Route Planner doesn't recognise Club Site

Ferry Meadows to be precise; I tried to plan a route to get a rough idea of mileage/time from FM, and the message that popped up tells me: no location found searching for "Ferry Meadows Caravan Club Site", please try again.

Given that, when I type in the name of the site and it auto-completes it, that is really bizarre.  Or perhaps not, given the other "oddities" now present on the website frown

I also tried Park Coppice and that seemed to work, so it may just be this site, haven't tried any others so far.

Edited to say I got round it by typing in the postcode, but it's still odd that the planner doesn't recognise the official site name!

Do you mean that message came up, or that the route came up ok?

Thanks.  Just tried again, went to the site details, then 'maps', then 'plan a route to this site'.  It's already got the site name in B, so I input a postcode I wanted to leave from, in A - fine, no problem.  I then clicked on 'Change Route', input FM in A, then a postcode in B, and it came up again with the message that it has not found that location.  Seems it will do it first time, but when you start changing the route, and want to go FROM FM rather than TO FM, it doesn't like it.

I don't know why they have the route planner on the CC web site. Having it there gives the impression that the route will be a good one for a caravan / motorhome.

But it's just a standard route planner, showing the quickest / shortest route by car.

I realise that and we never solely rely on either Satnav or routeplanners, a map is still essential.  It was just that I wanted to book a few sites and have a rough idea of distance/time from "up north" to a couple of sites we'd not been to before.
