Read on FB  of the death of Ruud a wonderful musician who will be sadly missed.  After the announcement of the cancelled Concert on Saturday in Nottingham and then the rest of Andre Rieu's Concert of the UK Christmas Tour was hoping for a recovery.

Condolences to the Merx Family, Andre and the Johann Strauss Orchestra.

    This is a real shame Dianne, and so very sad for his family and close friends. Sure they will all be devastated, along with all the thousands of fans of this lovely orchestra. Very very sad.
