Well, I finally got round to making a first booking for 2017 this morning. We tend to leave things pretty much till the last minute apart from bigger tours further from home. So a week (at a - gasp - commercial site!) near Skipton followed by a few days at Chatsworth (still got a couple of site night vouchers to use) and hopefully preceded by a few days at the CL near Clitherhoe  which we stayed at in 2015. With an overnight stop on the way up and back it'll be almost 3 weeks away - but everything is dependent on Dad's health so, fingers crossed. smile

Hi Moulesy, long time no speak, hope your dad will be ok, my dad is not too clever but still pottering about, no bookings as yet, but will take it as it comes.

Have a good Christmas and best wishes for the New Year

Sounds like a good trip Moulesy.  Hope it goes well.

Haven't got anything booked yet, but Yorkshire will be our destination this year, just go to decide on the dates.

May even get another trip to Cornwall later in the year.

I was bored, OK. So we sat down one wet day earlier this month and planned 2017 holiday. Really I WAS bored, honestly. Well we've booked everything. We mustn't have been ourselves. Having a UK year this year. Almost all CLs in the South of England  and West Midlands, oh and Yorkshire and a bit of Wales and there's a little bit in the North west of England. We're also staying on an independent site or two.

Alright I admit it. It was fun.smile but next year we're going abroad and winging it.
