A lorry has ploughed through a Christmas market in Berlin, this evening, apparently killing nine people. Story here: BBC News - Berlin Christmas market

I hope none of our caravanning friends are there at the moment.

    A  terrible  thing,  Valda,  and  made  worse  by  the

    folk  in  the  area  not  being  sure  if  it  is  an  attack, 

    so  they  would  be  very  nervous  waiting  for  a  bang

    or  another  vehicle  perhaps.

    Like  you,  my  thoughts  are  with  the  killed,  maimed  and  those  helping  on  the  spot.

    Such an horrendous thing to happen again.  What a world we live in today.  My heart goes out to those injured and to the families who have lost loved ones.

    Absolutely awful.

    The Berlin Christmas markets are wonderful, people of all ages relaxing and enjoying themselves. Why anyone could target such people is completely beyond me.
