Alde 3020 HE Central Heating problem

I have the Alde 3020 HE heating system in my Lunar Clubman and the central heating works fine on 3 and 2kw setting but when put on 1kw I do not get any heat output at all. Can anyone give me possible reason for this? Does the boiler have one element which is switch electronically for the different kw inputs?                                                                                                                         Any advise please.

    The 3020 has two seperate elements. A 1kw and a 2 kw. I suspect that your 1 kw is not working and that if you select 3 kw you are possibly only getting 2 kw still as only the 2 kw is working. I would give Alde a phone call as they are generally very helpful

    Thanks for the info Easy T, however I made a mistake in my post and it should read: Works fine on 3kw setting but not at all on 1 or 2kw settings. I will be giving Alde a call tomorrow thanks unless anyone else knows 'the cure'.
