CC sites arrival times

I am rather confused as to what is the arrival time for Caravan Club sites.

Over this last 'season' the earliest arrival time was changed to 13.00, however according to bookings on my profile page this has reverted back to 12.00.

I would have expected that when constructing the new booking site that the arrival time would have been amended unless ofcourse that it is indeed again now 12.00?

    Generally it is 12:00 unless the site has restricted access like Chatsworth for example and then it is 13:00.

    Hello Trini, 12 noon as been the set arrival time for a great number of years, except for the sites that JD6620 mentioned such as Chatsworth and Chedder where access is restricted. I joined in 1982 and it was 12noon then.

    Its also given on the site's information page and on your confirmation email. There was a problem with Berwick but I think its been resolved?

    In my experience the most common earliest arrival is 12:00. However, for specific site reasons a few may differ and for this reason it's in our interests, and our responsibility I guess, to check this when planning our breaks.

    They vary from site to site, depending upon certain conditions. Some are 12 noon, some are 1pm. Departure time times are the same, some are early, 11am at Bolton Abbey for example.

    As others have said the general arrival time is still 12.00 noon but some sites with narrow access have a 1.00pm arrival time. There was an earlier post pointing out that the arrival time at, I think, Berwick upon Tweed had changed to 1.00pm. Another site which has a 1.00pm arrival that doesn't seem to be to do with access in Bearstead. So I suppose its always best to check the individual site.

    Are you thinking of the other club, Trini? Their standard time changed to 1300 but CC's, with exceptions, remains as 1200.

    The CC only have a few sites where the arrival times vary from "Not before 12.00 hrs" . It is so important not to arrive before the permitted time so that departing members, who have to be off site before 12.00 hrs, do not meet congestion at the site gates or approach roads.

    Edinburgh has an 0900 arrival time, Berwick Seaview is 1300 ... all a bit confusing!

    Thanks. I may have got confused with the other club. 

    Good news in that we can leave on Boxing Day an hour earlier!

    They do seem to have changed more and more sites to 1pm, sometimes with no obvious access reason. For instance, we are going to River Breamish next year, which is a 1 pm arrival. It is a while since we last stayed there, but I cannot remember any exceptional access issues.
