Just in case you can't get away to sunnier climes, here's a place where you can enjoy some wonderful tropical foliage and flowers. I took a photo in Abbotsbury sub tropical gardens in Dorset recently, a beautiful spot between Bridport and Weymouth, just above the fleet lagoon on Chesil Beach. As the evenings draw in these gardens will be illuminated at night time and they're well worth a visit if you're in the area.

    Great pic Brue.  If anyone is there in the October halfterm the gardens usually put on evening walks where they light some of the trees using different colour lights, amazing really

    Did you know you can see and hear Kookaburras at Abbotsbury?! Quite a sight.
