Arrived at Ashridge Farm for another weekend break (we were there 3 weeks before) During the last visit, I bought the new unlimited internet access for £25 and sat down with my i- pad to catch up with the news. Could not remember the password but a quick visit to the warden who called the provider soon resolved that (1st thank you)

Whilst in the office a recent arrival came in asking if the warden sold an electric hook up cable as their new caravan did not have one. Wardens unable to assist, but I had a spare which they returned to me on Sunday with a nice bottle of wine (2nd thank you)

The rest of the weekend was uneventful until I hooked up to leave. I tried in vain for over 20 minutes to connect the 13 pin plug socket to my car and was becoming more stressed by the minute. I was on the verge of calling out The RAC but sought out the warden first. He came over, took a quick look and returned with a green “gadget” to re-align the socket. Quick as a flash, the job was done and we were ready to leave (3rd big thank you)

2 days later, my own green “gadget” arrived in the post via Amazon for £4.99. I strongly recommend that all members get their own and perhaps the club to supply one to all sites as I understand this is quite a common problem.

Can’t wait for the next trip away with my new password firmly in my mind and gadget to hand……

What green gadget? If I search "green gadget" on Amazon, will it find it?

You need to search on Google for 13 pin reallignment and it should take you to the Amazon supplier although I think most decent caravan shops would sell this tool.
