Laugh out loud!!!
After reading so many stories about people saving pitches, and jumping the queue to ensure they got on their favourite pitch.Lasy year when pitched up on a c.c. site on the wirral we were by good luck able to get a pitch overlooking the estuary.Over the days we were there many people strolled past and stopped for a chat (very friendly we thought) then the last question asked was are you moving off soon ?? On our final day our neighbours vacated their pitch we waved bthem off and the stared in amazement as an elderly lady came walking toward the empty pitch dragging with much difficulty a very long television aerial which she deposited on the pitch to be followed just after by her husband towing their caravan we laughed so much and were reminded of a certain story from the bible as the aerial did look like a cross, but they did get the pitch they were after.

It just goes to prove that even the 'friendly' club people who like the outdoors, like the company of others, like the comfort of knowing your going to a nice caravan site with like minded people to relax and enjoy the pleasure we all get from carvanning
can be selfish, ignorant, pathetic and childish.I'd never dream of asking someone, ''when are you leaving'' just to get their pitch. And anyway, isnt' that kind of thing out of the rules of caravanning? If the person leaving the site has to be off by 12:00 and the next caravanner can't come one site
untill 14:00hrs then surely people already on site, must not be allowed to move about the campsite willy-nilly between these time surely? You've got to laugh at the clown
