Hello Club Together chums!
We're back on our favourite French campsite at Saint Clair on the Côte d'Azur. We've been on the coast since the end of May, and here for a week. The weather has been very good except that we had two thunderstorms on Sunday. We're spending our days with walks to neighbouring Le Lavandou for morning coffee by the harbour, afternoons on the beach, and evenings having BBQs.

It's sunny and warm, sometimes hot, with the sea temperature now hovering around 20C - ok for swimming, but we had an 'orange flag' day yesterday due to jelly fish. The forecast for the rest of the week is for sunshine and 25 C max.

Last week, Steve and Kitty (motorhoming chums) were here as well, so we've had a lot of laughs together. Kitty and Catherine enjoyed shopping for trinkets at the marché in Lavandou last Thursday. We're going again tomorrow so Catherine can buy some more 5€ watches!

We're moving along to Cavalaire sur Mer on Sunday for a week, and then back to La Croix Valmer because we liked it so much. After that we'll being heading inland towards Aups. Hope to meet up with more 'chums' along the way. Meantime, here are some photos.

p.s. The 'regulars' on the campsite ,some of whom have been coming here for 30 years, want to keep its location a secret and so we can't divulge its name; however, google "Postcard from Saint Clair" to find out more!

    Hi Chas,

Glad the weather seems to be getting better for you and you are somewhere you like. We have just got back to the UK and it was a cold last few days after Millau. I like the photos.

    Regards, Roy

We're still at the seaside and it's sunny and hot. The sea temperature is just right, but the campsite swimming pool is getting a bit too warm! This week we're back in Cavalaire sur Mer, having travelled all of 11 miles from St Clair.

The fridge has all but given up as the afternoon temperatures are hovering around 30C; however. we're copingHappy

Next week we move on another 3 miles for our last week on the Cote d'Azur. ACSI finishes on the 30th on most sites.

    Some more photos?

Today we travelled 2.7 miles down the coast to La Croix Valmer to Camping Selection. Must be the shortest move we've ever made! Hot and sunny here, so enjoying the last week of 'South of France' at 16 euros a night before ACSI expires.
