Along with many many others we enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at the National Rally at Belvoir Castle.

So the weather was not great on the Friday and the Marshalls did sterling work in less than ideal conditions to get everyone who arrived in the monsoon like weather to their appropriate location.

Over the rest of the weekend the weather was glorious and one thing that made being there just that extra bit special for me and I'm sure many others was the Flypast by the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

We were positioned in BlockE11 in the EHU Lines and the 3 aircraft passed directly over us on the end of their 1st pass.  Fortunately I was able to take some still photos with my IPhone of this part and have loaded them up to here.  There are also a couple of short video's taken of the 2nd and 3rd passes. which can be found HERE and HERE

Sick as the proverbial parrot. I had everything set up in advance, spotted them three minutes out,.Very expensive camera with telephoto lens, duel still and video, the dogs b******s ! Switched on, and zilch, nada, nothing!!!! My battery,or so I thought ,was
dead. Turns out the micro processor threw a wobbly. I thought I had a perfect shot of them lined up with the castle in the background, port wing down, showing full top view. Congrats on getting those shots.
