Well at last tow bar was fitted to car on Tuesday so ready to take our first trip in the caravan on the following Friday, booked somewhere local for first outing to keep it simple. Journey to site went without any hitches and after a text to a relative(who sold me the caravan) finally got water pump working (hadn't switched on main switch above door!) rest of setting up caravan went well,a big  thanks to a kindly neighbour whom loaned me a hammer and assisted in setting up my porch awning which looked daunting in manual. We returned on Sunday after 2 nights and enjoyed every minute of the adventure, reversing caravan onto our drive from the main road was nervy with traffic building as i took 3 attempts to get it onto the drive Embarassed looking forward to the next one now Happy

Good for you, we're just back from our first outing and had to reverse (for real)  back onto the main road after sat nav had taken us into a housing estate. Very nerve racking but like yourselves managed in the end.
