My wife and i have been caravanning for just over four years and have enjoyed every minute. We have toured in England,Scotland and Wales and with one exception(Castleton December 2011l we were snowed in) have enjoyed pretty good weather. However after the winter we are now experiencing we have decided to try a couple of months in Spain for the coming winter 2013.I would be grateful if any members who have already tried this could advise  me of any sites they have stayed on with decent facilities .Many thanks.

hello Venturer1, you would get lots of replies in the Overseas section.  We have stayed at Bonterra Park in Benicassim for September and October, and met many very happy 'snowbirds' who winter there right through until February or March.  Beach within 10/15
mins walk, supermarkets within few minutes walk.  A really Spanish town.  Nice swimming pool, and although maybe old fashioned facilities, they are spotlessly clean.  We have been there when there was torrential rainfall, and nobody was waterlogged, although
another site not too far away was in a terrible state.  We are off again this year same time, but are planning to stretch out further into winter in 2014.  Local bus routes are also useful, and the site generally run a coach trip into Valencia for 10/12 Euros
    pp.  Happy Holidays.

PS Forgot to mention they have updated all the disabled facilites onsite.  Last year their restaurant was under new management and was quite good.
