Winter in the west

We have just taken our firstb trip to-gether in the camper that I bought for work use last year!

We stayed at Hillside Campsite Ringwood Forest, Gotham, Verwood, Wimborne, Dorset, England, BH21 5QY

I can honestley say that it was bloody cold!!

But although not the best time of year to stay in a camper, the site was very pleasant and would be wonderfull in the summer. The chap running it was extremely helpful and directed us to a wonderful pub, even giving us a discount card, so the whole meal including a steak, gammon j2o and coke came to less than £11.00

I would recommend this site to anyone who wants peace and quiet, with loads of walking, but wants to be close to life and shops within a short drive!

I hope this is a sign of what is to come from other places, from a newcomer to this lifestyle!

A big THANKYOU to Brian and Diane

Enjoyed your story! Sympathise with being cold, our van conversion isn't at it's best heat wise in the winter, we were away for a few days this week and I dropped the fan heater plug in the dogs water bowl, very, very cold after that.
    Sad Happy vanning!
