Hello

I would just like to share my experience when my husband and I decided to get our van ready for the up and coming Easter holidays. The van was parked up as usual over the winter and we decided to give it the once over and to our horror the Brake Shoes had seized on the wheels and the prices we where getting to sort this problem were rediculas.

We tried everywhere and were told that we would not be able to get replacement brake shoes as they were no longer available. As a las resort we typed Caravan Brake Shoes into Gumtree and found that there was a company who specialise in Bonding Caravan Brake Shoes and we were delighted to find that we could get them delivered back to us like brand new for just £50 including postage.

hi, it sounds like you applied handbrake during storage, this is not a good idea, and may be the cause of your problem !
