I understand that there is a CC collection at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu- this is still on my list to visit- but when visiting transport museums I occasionally come across old caravans- for example, the CSMA museum in Bourton on the Water, and the East Anglian Transport Museum at Carlton Colville. Have you come across any preserved caravans elsewhere?

I expect your pride and joy will still be going strong long after some modern vans!

There are also vintage caravans at the Motor Heritage Centre at Gaydon (1930's Winchester Royal), Coventry Motor Museum (1930's Eccles), the Lakeland Motor Museum (Burlingham) and the Bakelite Museum in Somerset (1950's Willerby Vogue, 1930's Winchester, 1930's Angela).

We have seven vintage caravans (1933 Winchester, 1934 Winchester, 1938 Winchester, 1949 Freeman, 1949 Burlingham, 1952 home-built, 1958 Freeman), which we use as ordinary caravans and also show as members of the Historic Caravan Club at vintage vehicle and steam shows and 1940's events up and down the country.
