Hi all, Just a question thats been bugging me for a while. We have not long bought a caravan and had one holiday so far which was great. I have been wondering what to do with caravan insurance on 2 aspects: 1) As my partner is disabled and has a motability car with witch we tow our caravan with, what happens with the break down cover if there was a problem with the car? Would they bring the caravan if we had to be towed to a garage?

2) And do we need breakdown cover for the caravan?

Also i have been thinking about caravan insurance and i have read alot of stories regarding the bad weather damaging the caravans, is it the same as car insurance like third party, fire and theft and fully comprehensive? I would like to make sure i get the right cover and makes sure it includes new for old?

Thanks in advance.

caravan insurance is like fully comp go for one that covers you all year storage aswell with regards to breakdown cover greenflag mayday cover would suit  as it covers you and huby not just the car and gives dual recovery

As a lot of new cars now come WITHOUT A SPARE WHEEL JUST AN INFLATING KIT, I would think about investing the same for the caravan if you say that you cannot change a wheel over
