I have just returned from Havens Golden Sands in Mablethorpe On arrival I was shown to my hard standing all singing & dancing pitch by a warded warden, he showed me the drain for my grey water and when I asked him where the toilet disposal area was his answer was "oh you can just pour it down the 4" pipe (which was the grey water pipe) everyone else does it," when I told him I wouldn't be doing it he said oh then the disposal is 75 yards away. I won't be back

Don't blame you for not wanting to go back, it sounds totally unacceptable, Don't think we will be going there either.

Does not surprise me, having used several Haven sites in past and I do not use them now due to very very small pitches, dirty toilets and poor facilities/customer care.

ive been to hafan y mor haven site twice since they upgraded it and its quite a nice site clean and tidy (althou it is all brand new) id recommend it as a campsite without the fact its on a haven site - once on it you dont know its haven - the site (at the
moment) is run almost on a par with a caravan club campsite the toilets are kept clean and the wardens are friendly - i will be going back when the prices come back down after season

I have been to the Hafan y mor site for a week after refurb, the toilet/shower block was very clean the waste disposal area was very clean and organised, with it being a haven site I was not expecting a great deal but the site was excellent and would highly
recommend, I am going back this year the kids 17 and 12 loved it.
