A sign of getting old

After spending a great week at the Hillhead site Brixham we folded our Gober van and headed

to the Black Horse Farm site in Folkstone upon arrival I headed for reception to book in and

received a warm welcome from the wardens, After giving our name we were asked to pay the fee

for the weeks stay so I handed over my card and it was slotted into the machine, After a pause I

was asked if my card was a swipe or pin card I looked at the card and replied no that’s my BUS PASS

I had inadvertently handed my bus pass by mistake,

So after a lot of hilarious laughter I said I would go out and come in again for a retry,

That is definitely a sign of getting old,

Needless to say we had another great week at this lovely site and the wardens could not be more

helpful nothing was to much trouble.

    Hi jebo.

Your not alone, I tried to pay for my Petrol with my Sainsbury's Reward Card, I put it down to" Life Without the Sun Crisis"  sadly, they still wanted paying...Don't cry

At least you phoned using a er... phone - you should try it with the TV remote - doesn't work well pressing 10 digits! Now that is getting old.

I wish i could pay for my visits to Hillhead with a bus pass as it certainly makes a dent in my bank card
