We booked for Chatsworth in November, so that we could visit the house & Christmas market. I booked it in March, but the CC cancelled our booking because of some jumbo jumbo about us wanting an awning pitch. There had been some reorganisation re. The pitches
which meant there was less space for awnings, so our booking was cancelled. We weren't given the option of not using the awning. I' m not pleased, I have noticed that there seems to be some discrimination re. Awnings.

Just been to chatsworth did,nt have any problems pre booked online for a few days then travelled to Melbourne stayed at dovesite for a couple of days very nice site and lovely people who run this site the only problem being no toilet well there is one but
its down by the garages where you have to pass men working in the garages that was a bit off putting would definately go back if a toilet and shower block was installed so on the Monday headed back to chatsworth which i had prebooked in the office the previous
week the wardens a very helpful making sure my mum who is disabled got near to the toilet and shower block which was much appreciated would definately go back to this site loads to see and great for the dog walking.

Have stayed at Chatsworth a couple of times (Fully serviced pitch of course) booked in without problem. However last Christmas left it a little late and so no vacancies. Stayed though at Poolsbrook Country Park early December as the opening period had just
been extended. Fully serviced pitches spotlessly clean and easy to find. The site is only 30mins or so from Chatsworth so worth thinking about if full. This year have already booked Chatsworth for the beginniong of Dec. We love to go to the farm shop for superb
christmas cake and puddings and to visit the house all set up for Christmas.Sunday lunch at the farm shop restaurant isnt half bad either !!
