Learn some Spanish
One of the many reasons that we decided to travel and take the girls to France and Spain was for them to appreciate the culture but also learn the languages. There is no better place to learn a language and put it into practice than in the country itself. As we've been travelling around Spain, the girls have gained in confidence and are always keen to speak to any Spanish people that we meet.
Whilst visiting Salamanca recently, we read that it is one of the regions in Spain with the 'purest' Spanish. We thought this would be the location to try out some of the language that they've learnt and pass it on!

I think I recognise the photo as being taken in the Plaza Mayor, which is reputedly the most beautiful in all of Spain. I am pleased you got to see it all, we unfortunately went to visit it specifically and there happened to be a lot of porta cabin style buildings covering it all with a book fair. It is on my list of places to revisit as a result. Regards, Roy

Well done girls. I was very impressed with your pronunciation and how you emphasised the vowels and I could understand all you said perfectly. Regards, Roy
