Had the most fantastic week at Rookesbury Caravan Site as our base for Portsmouth historic harbour and the IOW. Wonderful site, and really very very lovely wardens.We went in July 2015, arrived on site from Letchworth, Herts only to find out that I had booked for the following week. No problem the warden says we will sort things out and lo and behold we get the only pitch left. How lucky are we. We enjoyed it so much we are going back next July for two weeks and are already looking forward to it.

    We visit Rookesbury site every year.  Stored the van there for 3  seasons. the dog loves it too, lots of walking to do.  

    Glad you enjoyed the IW too.
