It strikes me that the word "forum" in its self means basicly we all join in discussions involving our hobby witch is of course carravaning, ok we have all sorts of interrests which we talk about in the awning or on rallies or the pub, even on the menu we
have fun, sports, wildlife, pets, and general plus more so why is it so frowned upon if a member is castigated becuase it wasn't deemed caravan related, it seems to me that all the interesting forumites have sadly feft only to be replaced by self oppinionated
    purple star chasing bore's

Well I don't really care if tiger fish goes or not but I am now intrigued as to what was in the easter egg post!

TG's post had been pulled before I saw it too, but I suspect it was to do with

    this

What post of mine got pulled? which thread? I'm not aware of anything I've posted has upset someone. Please do tell me so I can review it and apologise if need be.

Not to worry TG, it must have been fat finger syndrome. Someone pressed the G instead of the F.Laughing

I trust you're not placing all purple star posters in that group, H. DSB will be very upset.

I, like TF have been abused by individuals on this forum for reasons that still bewilder me? Most of the comments have been nothing to do with my threads, but there are members who just like to wind people up or think they know better.

One member actually reported me to Isabella head office about a copyright infringement, then sent me a personal message that they were to take action against me. However, no action was taken because this member got his facts all wrong and made a fool of
    himself.

However, his remarks stayed with me for many months because he was not aware that I have mental disabilities. Now I do very little in the way of supporting this forum to help others.

AHM, I'm very sorry to learn of your experiences. May I suggest that having your email and website address in your profile may have made it too easy for that individual. That's no excuse for his behaviour but you might do better to maintain a level of privacy.

It's always a sad day when a regular poster leaves, but many on here have had their posts moved and a few had their's removed and are still posting. In the long run we should be thanking the Mods for all the voluntary hard work that they put in, ensuring
that the rules we've all sign up to are adhered to.

Agreed, Admiral, there are better forums out there.

As one who took an extended break (without throwing my arms in the air) I can categorically state that I now post again not because it is the best forum around but because the behaviour of certain members improved to a degree.

No, because we (the members) own the Club......although some of the Club employees seem to forget that.

An interesting point, do the members of this club actually own it? or is it owned by someone/thing that allows us to join it for a fee?

I could start a 'ice cream' club, I would own various assets (property...) and let you use those assets for a membership fee.

If we do own it, we would be liable for any debt wouldn't we? Any claims

You join a squah club, join a gym, but you don't own it, do you?

Any legal eagles out there? I don't think we own the club, we merely join it to allow us to use the services it provides?

No, because we (the members) own the Club......although some of the Club employees seem to forget that.

assuming that is all true, does that give anyone the right to ignore any rules set by the club, does that give anyone the right to decide which rules to follow, which to break?

I believe TF was a police officer (?) I am sure he would have reacted quite appropriately to being told  you can't tell me to slow down - I pay your wages

HD, it didn't seem long ago that you & a few others were singing the praises of 'MH fun' I think it was, is CT better than that?. You did seem quite taken with the other forum.
