Avatar Change
Just logged onto CC site to look at ferries and CL sites and noticed that my avatar has reverted back to the one I changed from about a month ago. The new one was showing last night with my last post and I have not changed it at all. Anyone throw any light
on this or is my computer throwing a wobbly?

The Avatar I can see for you is the one with the two puffins (?) on it.
Are you logging on with the same computer you were using last night?
The first thing I would suggest is clearing the cache on your browser - which browser are you using?
I'm using Chrome and cleared the cache this morning.

When I first opened this thread, the avatar was your old one but, when you refresh, the new one displays.

I tried it some time ago and it kept getting rejected!

Yes, it uploaded for me OK. Perhaps because its a simple two picture one I did myself and not one off the web.

Yes, all down to the 'cache', each evening when I shut down I run 'CCleaner' to get rid of temporary files and clean out the 'cache'. Fresh start and fresh pages in the morning.
I've never "cleared my cashe", as far as I know. How do I go about it, being a dinasaur?

I use f5. I've only ever done it when I've been on here to see new avatars that people say they've put up. Some show without it - some don't
. I only learned the f5 key from here too. Not just caravan or motorhome tips from these pages
Other than that I have no idea either, I like the dinasour age myself, I only poke my head out, or should that be toe? to
test some things, lots I decide aren't worth the effort

Funny really. My Mac computer was the one I was complaining about but after sorting that out I now see the new avatars including The Admiral's rather frightening new one yet using my old android I get the old one of his and Tammy's but do get Brue's recent
