Noted thanks and hope you are going to fix the intermittant access problem I have been having over the weekend with this site although it does not seem to have not been so bad today, just a bit slow on occasions.

...and sort out the edit facility on posts so that one can highlight and delete extraneous material.

Could that be a browser issue CY, it can be a bit tedious but it is doable using Firefox. Perhaps you are taking the micky out of those lazy ones who cannot be bothered to do an edit?

Hi again - the IT team have asked we make the start time 5.30am, so I've edited my original post (which said 5.45am). Early start in East Grinstead tomorrow!

Did we not make the planned maintenance slot? The site seems to have been down for the last few hours.

Apparently it was an unplanned outrage!!  I am not unhappy about that as it seemed to coincide with  a Windows 10 update which I thought had gone wrongSurprised

Just discovered it is back. Perhaps there now won't be a downtime tomorrow morning?

Hi Cyberyacht, sorry to hear you are still having problems. What issues are you experiencing so I can report this back? Many thanks.

Last post times are not updating correctly. When quoting a post, it is impossible to highlight any text for editing purposes.

That has been happening for ages, if I understand the problem correctly. Maybe it's peculiar to Mac/Safari?

same goes for selecting text when trying to edit (I don't know why I Deleted User that bit).
