Hello all,

I visited my sister in her Motorhome recently and frankly just didn't want to leave. Seeing everyone relaxed outside their caravans, motor homes & tents. BBQ's lit, cold beer, drinking tea. Listening to the birds singing and rabbits hopping about filled
me with envy. We live a hectic lifestyle and our observations on that day inspired us. So we've done it. We got our first caravan not quite 2 weeks ago and already visited 4 sites and we're off again this weekend. Loving it so far ( mastered reversing too).
The people you meet. Marvellous !

    Thanks TinWheeler & NellieTheHooker.

I've towed a trailer for a few years, it must have helped me :o). I thought it would be harder with a Caravan but found it a bit easier. The hard bit is keeping my wife in my wing mirrors lol.

I hope you have years of fun with your new toy Starbys. Don't get me wrong, some days when the rain is horizontal and you're almost blown off the road you wonder what you're doing but generally the next trip/day always proves you can't beat camping
