Hello! I am Aaron from Stowmarket, only just joined the Caravan Club! To cut a long story short, I used to go caravanning with my parents in my teens, as did my fiance, when we got together we both talked about how we want a caravan, then earlier on this
summer I rescued a caravan which had been sat in a field for quite some time, to which I had saw looking very sorry for itself next to the dual carriageway to and from work, I got it home, gave it lots of TLC so now am the proud owner of a 1995 Coachman Genius
520/4! We have been away in it twice so car, local in Suffolk but havent been able to go more as we are getting married next month! We plan to head off to Kelling Heath for a few days after the wedding, then use the van more after! We are now also proud members
of the Club and looking forward to what that brings! We definitely want to go to France with the van next year! anyway, enough rambling, just thought I would say hello!

Hi Aaron and welcome to you and your fiance, lovely to hear you have rescued a poor unwanted caravan and turned it into your own haven. Good luck with the wedding, hope the sun shines for you then and on your subsequent travels

    Alison

Well done Aaron. You should have a great time. It might be worth checking the age of the tyres if the van has been standing for a long time.

Aaron, don't want to put a dampener on things but ( due to your age) have you been on an approved towing course?

Hi Terry, no need for that as I have an HGV C+E licence!
