    Sorry to hear this news.  He will always be remembered as Manuel. Apparently he had been suffering with vascular dementia.  RIP Andrew Sachs

    Of course John Cleese was the comic genius behind Fawlty Towers but it wouldn't have been half as funny without Andrew Sach's Manuel. A modest hut very talented man, according to the reports this morning he openly acknowledged that although he only played
    the part 12 times, it was the role he'd always be remembered for.

    "It's a hamster" is another of those classic lines that TV sitcoms have produced that has become part of our folklore, along with "Don't tell him, Pike" and "Play it cool, Trig".
