Just heard of the sad loss of one of our veteran broadcasters and entertainers

Sir Jimmy Young aged 95yrs

    That  lovely  voice  did  him  no  harm  in  his  singing  either,  Roobz  !

    Unchained  Melody ( ? )  and  others  gave  him  a  first  rate,  close  up  insight  into  the  Pop  Charts,  before  he  became  a  first  class  DJ,  and  Interviewer  on  Radio  2.  Yet  another  real  personality  lost  this  year.

    Used to love the banter between Jimmy Young and Terry Wogan when they did their radio shows.

    News has just reached us too.  A sad loss  RIP Jimmy Young.

    I always enjoyed listening to him during a period when my job involved a lot of driving......a real professional and a pleasure to listen to.
