Just one of those things but I'm a little sad that Frank Finley's passing is somewhat overshadowed today.  He was a fine actor.

Quite  agree  Jill,  no  disrespect  to  Sir  Terry,  but  the  publicity  machine  keeps  on  turning,  no  matter  what.

    Rest  In  Peace  Frank  Finlay

Visiting my cousin in Brighton, we went down to the marina for a coffee and Frank Finlay was there chatting with friends, it was the familiar voice of Casanova floating on the air!

Of all the recent sad losses, the passing of Frank Finlay to me is the most keenly felt.  A great actor and sadly under valued in my opinion.

To me, one of the finest Courtroom Drama's was re-enacted some years ago in the BBC2 Drama  "Erebus, - The Aftermath"

It recreates the public enquiry which took place in New Zealand following the 1979 air disaster which befell an Air New Zealand DC10 on a sight seeing trip over Mount Erebus in Antarctica.  The programme was riveting and an example of superb acting by Frank who played Justice McMahon.

Most Highly recommended if you can secure a copy.
