Back in the seventies, Cambridge Corn Exchange on a Friday night was the place to find music. In '77 with the onset of punk and all those great bands such as the pistols, sham 69, uk subs and the jam to name but a few, I saw Motorhead. If you were around
the rock music scene then you'd appreciate what seemed the immense noise and volume and fast beat that they played. Lemmy was a showman and an excellent bassist, and I was introduced into a sound that I still love today. Rock on Lemmy.

Personally not a fan, but one can't deny the influence Lemmy and Motorhead had on the development of this genre.  RIP Lemmy.
